"Sirius" a Saint Bernard

This big fellow is Sirius a Saint Bernard. Saint Bernards come in two types of coats smooth (which is what Sirius is) and rough (longer hair.) Sirius was painted on canvas board measuring 16 x 20 inches and was done with acrylics and oil pastels. After spending the day looking at Ron Burns work (an artist I really like a lot), I went for a bold but simple background. Hope you enjoy it.
