"Red Jacket" a Portrait
"Red Jacket" is my second human portrait. It is on canvas board measuring 16 x 20 inches in size and is acrylic. I am pretty happy with this painting as it is a huge improvement from my first portrait (and no you won't see it LOL.) This is a birthday gift to my mother.

Thank you so much for your nice comments about my work. It isn't me as a child but a friend's daughter whose photo I fell in love with.
I think you meant Franz Marc and not Frederic because I couldn't pull up anything with that name but have heard of Franz Marc the animal artist of the Blue Rider period.
I really hadn't looked at the works before until now and I really fell in love with them so I can understand your feelings about their work. Thanks for sharing that with me as I enjoyed looking through the work immensely.
I just love it when you see color used so well. Well thanks again and I do hope you will continue to stop by and check in.
