"Rosie" a Brussels Griffon

Well I find myself these past few nights waking up in the middle in the night then going to my easel and starting to paint. What causes these trips I don’t know, but at least they are productive. “Rosie” is a Brussels Griffon (like the dog from “As Good As It’s Get’s” with Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt. It was painted on 16 x 20 inch canvas board with acrylics and oil pastels. I found the background to be a challenge with the dog’s coloring, but I think we got there in the end.
